Swing chair with light grey cushions

Your Questions Answered

Yes! We construct all our swings using H3 design pine, which is suitable for above-ground outdoor use. The timber is treated so that it stops mold growth, and deterioration, even in coastal areas.

The coloured swings are painted using exterior paint and have 3x coats to ensure maximum durability and reduce wear and tear over time.

If the swing is a natural timber design, then we use hardwood timber. We prefer to use recycled timber and these swing’s timber colour may evolve over time, but it all adds to the beauty of the piece.

Yes! The cushions are all made using reticulated outdoor foam to allow for water to flow through the cushion to reduce mold and mildew build-up. The foam is also treated to improve durability in all weather conditions.

The fabrics we select are all outdoor high-quality fabrics that have their own 10 year warranty.

We want your cushions to last for many, many years and stay looking fabulous so we select the materials that will alow us to do that, uncompromised.

All our cushions are made using super durable outdoor fabrics.

They are straightforward to clean.

Dust off any debris regularly to keep them looking fabulous and spot-clean as needed. Please refer to our cleaning/ care guide for cushions for more info.

All the cushions also have a zip so that you can take the covers off and gently machine wash them.

Hang the cushions out to dry in a shady area and DO NOT IRON. They will melt!!

They are chlorine resistant, mold resistant and will not fade in the sun.

These cushions with a little bit of TLC will last a long time.

Even our thinner 12mm rope has a snapping weight of 1200kgs. The rope is marine-grade which means that it has high tensile strength and is made using polypropylene. This allows for a smoothness to tough and a luster that looks beautiful but also is extremely durable in the outdoors. These ropes won’t get moldy.

The hanging chairs and daybeds are not difficult to install, but they do however require a level of handy person skills. A wrench, socket set, or spanner is recommended to use for tightening the wire clamps of the base of the swing at the rope.

Refer to our installation guide and roof suitability guide to get a clearer idea of how we’d recommend installing your swing.

We design and build all our swings on-site at  Brookvale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We generally have a 4-6 week build time on our standard range but for any custom designs we may need longer, but that will all be discussed with you before placing an order.

If you are currently building or renovating and may have a ‘flexible’ timeline for completion let us know, we’d be happy to liaise with you to make sure we can deliver on time.

Yes! Because we make all our swings on-site at Brookvale and do not import our products we are completely customisable and modifiable.

If you require different measurements, higher arms, slats instead of crosses, black instead of natural rope, you name it we’ve probably done it!

Also, if you have an image of something you’d like to replicate email us and we’d be happy to discuss options.

We have a ‘working’ workshop located at Brookvale in Sydney and you are more than welcome to arrange a time with us to have a visit. We do ask that you email or call to arrange a day/time as we may be out on-site at certain times.

The workshop is not a pretty showroom and we will have sawdust on the ground, but you can have a look and see what swing projects we are working on, have a chat about your plans and see the wide range of fabrics we have on offer.

If you have a higher than 3m roof height please let us know and we can accommodate more rope for your swing. A small additional may be added.

Yes, we offer refunds.

If your item is damaged we will offer a full refund or replacement. Items must be returned with as much of the packaging as possible. For any custom design swings, unless there is damage from freight, we do not offer refunds.

If you would like a refund and there is no fault of product or damage then we are able to do that so long as the item is returned in its original condition. Shipping costs are at the customer’s discretion and we can assist you with arranging collection.

Any refund requests must contact us so that we can assist and proof of purchase must be shown.
